We all have a purpose in life, a reason we are here.
I learned that my purpose in life is to help others in anyway I can.
I try to do something positive every day as I work towards my goal to help others.
Some people come to me because they need a way to make some quick money. The reasons vary but some say they need it so they can start their own business, or join an MLM that they are confident they will succeed in. They may need help getting traffic or setting up a website. Maybe they need a few ads written or content for their blog. Sometimes I charge full price for these things but I know when a person is truly in need and in this case I usually give them a 'discount' for first time customers, or a special 'coupon' to save them money so they don't realize that I am charging them less and they won't think I take pity on them because that isn't it at all. I do not pity anyone I just know what it is like to be in their position, with no where to go and no one to turn to that doesn't hold my past against me or doesn't believe in me.
I often have people come to me looking for resources online and off; resources that can help them put food on the table for their families, pay their utility bill's so they stay warm and comfortable. There have been folks I don't know well that will come to me because someone recommended me to them to help them do their taxes, or fill out paper work they don't understand so they can get assistance through the state or apply for SSI/Disability. I have helped woman get out of abusive relationships, guided them and helped them every step of the way. I do not judge anyone by what they have or don't have, who they are or what they do with their lives. We all need someone in ours lives that will not judge, someone in our corner that will be there for support. The only thing that is difficult about being this kind of person is that when I need help people look at me like I am crazy because they think "I have all the answers" which is far from the truth. I learn something every day, I search out answers to things that have no relevance to me, I strive to be the best me that I can be. To say I only do it for my family would be a lie, I do it for others in this world and I even selfishly do this for myself. Maybe I want to feel needed, like it puts some value on me. Regardless it is what makes me feel human and happy.
Sometimes people take advantage of, or try to take advantage of people like me, but I can see though people like that for the most part. I learned the hard way.
I have been reading a book called "Magnetic Sponsoring" By Mike Dillard; and he says that "Our only obstacle in our lives are ourselves." That is the truest statement I have ever heard and the more we all heed to his advice the more successful we will become. The $5 I paid for his book was one of the best $5 I have yet to spend.
Success is not about how much money you have, or how many friends you have, it's not about what assets you own; at least not to me. Success is a feeling of fulfillment and happiness in knowing that you did everything you could to be a better person, to help other people, to give back to the world. If you get into the right frame of mind and acknowledge that not everything is about money and you focus on just giving back- Pay it forward, then the money will come.
Educate yourself daily, read every book you can, watch every video you come across, do not put a monetary limit in tools to educate yourself. As Mike says; Bring up your PVL (Personal Value Level) and people will search you out. Sell yourself and no matter what product or service or home business opportunity your promoting will sell and you will make money without even trying.
